I haven’t really gotten around to having my hair done lately.
Just one more thing I’ve out off -like going to the well woman clinic, optician, doing the ironing, defrosting something for dinner, putting everything back in my wardrobe that I pulled out and tried to throw away and is now covering most of the surface area [...]

Buy them loads of stuff!
I’ve copied this from beansprouts, what a great image!
I’ve got 2 birthdays coming up and yes I probably will spend too much on a lot of stuff that we don’t need because I don’t like to disappoint my kids.

It’s just a wee sticker to add to you blog to let people know that you’re doing your bit for the environment by growing your own, eating seasonally and shopping local. Now I must go back and find out where it [...]

My workplace has given me the chance to go to the European Virology Conference, this year being held in Saariselka, Finnish Lapland. How mad is that?
I was offered the chance a while back and -hyperventilting- said yeah yeah yeah, but while my dad was ill it looked like I might have to cancel and give [...]

Here’s the first digger starting work on destroying my field. It’s presumably making an access road.
The developers made an application to take down some of the trees for the road and i think they were refused but I’m not sure.
Don’t be fooled though, if it weren’t for the fact that the wood [...]

Chatting to my neighbours this evening they told me of an Eco-battle going on in our quiet cul de sac: We all have brown bins for the council compostable waste collection and one or two have apparently gone missing, presumably nicked by lads up to something. Well this has led to territorial battles between neighbours over [...]

I’m no good at this stuff, this was supposed to produce a banner for Hugh F_W’s campaign against factory farmed chicken but it won’t work. I whole heartedly agree that factory farming is abhorrent but I have a bit of a problem in that we’re [...]

Happy Sunday morning.
Our bin collection was moved to today because of the holidays and it would normally also have been the kerbside collection day for paper, glass and tins. The council however sends out a handy calendar with top green tips in it and the dates of different collections. This calendar says the paper etc [...]
